Our Tax team in Bulgaria advises clients across a wide range of industries on the tax aspects of their business activities. We work on both domestic and cross-border matters, supporting clients through key stages of their business lifecycle and helping them navigate complex tax issues in a practical and commercially focused way.

We are looking to welcome Associates who are motivated to deepen their expertise in tax and develop a strong understanding of its commercial impact. How you’ll contribute

Advising clients on tax aspects of their business activities across a broad range of industries
Supporting tax structuring, transaction-related work, and ongoing tax compliance matters throughout the business lifecycle
Handling both domestic and cross-border tax matters for local and international clients, often in coordination with other practice areas
Assisting with tax aspects of international operations and expansion projects, providing practical, business-focused advice

What matters to us

1–5 years’ post-qualification experience in tax, ideally gained at a reputable international or strong local law or accounting firm
Experience with tax due diligence, drafting tax advice and liaising with tax authorities
Strong knowledge of Bulgarian tax and corporate law, including corporate structuring, reorganisations and incentive structures
Strong analytical and drafting skills with excellent attention to detail
Proactive, service-oriented and reliable professional with strong ownership and good interpersonal skills
Bulgarian or international law degree; admission to the Bulgarian Bar (or eligibility); excellent English. Additional tax, finance or business studies are an advantage
